Sistem Reminder Pengembalian Buku Dan Denda Terintegrasi Dengan Aplikasi Whatsapp Berbasis Web Pada Perpustakaan

The problem that occurs at SMP Negeri 16 Bulukumba currently does not have an information system in providing services related to book lending, Book lending is still done manually by recording in the lending book. In addition, the library officers still contact the students one by one regarding the deadline for returning books and fines. The aim of the study was to help the schools in processing library data including book data, library member data and borrower data by building a web-based library information system that is integrated with WhatsApp social media. The data was obtained through field research and library research.. The method used in this study is Rapid Application Development (RAD) which consists of the stages of Needs Planning, Design Process and Implementation using the php programming language and sublime text editor. The results of the study indicate that the testing from 10 respondents consisting of the principal, teachers, library officers and the students obtained a percentage value of 96% with a very feasible category for the use.
